Bredie is the Malay word for stew and is made with lamb meat, a unique blend of spices and finished off with baby potatoes. Comforting, lightly spiced and wholesome. Eat within 2 days of defrosting.

Serving size: 500g (two hearty appetites).

Ingredients: lamb, potato, onion, Rajah curry spice.

Instructions:

1. Take the dish out of the freezer to defrost.

2. Heat up the oven to 180 degrees.

3. Remove the plastic lid and place the dish in the center of the oven.

4. Cook for 20 minutes or until heated through. And, enjoy!

Allergens: gluten, egg, dairy and made in a facility that uses nuts.

Well Made

The delivery of the meal was really fast. I ordered on Sunday evening and received it tuesday evening. Which was great because the delivery was after typical working hours. As someone who works full time, that was perfect for me. I ordered multiple items and the best is the malva pudding by far. Just how my mum makes it and it was delicious with some custard. The lamb bredie itself was well made and if it was fresh it would have been 10/10 but helaas it is frozen so the watered down taste is evident. But that cannot be helped. Last night I grilled the normal boerewors and had the chakalaka with some pap. Excellently made. Will definitely be purchasing alot more from the butchery on this webshop.
