For a traditional African “Braai” (BBQ), kameeldoring wood is irreplaceable. The wood of the symbolic Kalahari trees impresses with its solidity, red color, and long-lasting heat which is supported by a unique flavor.
The Kameeldoring tree is protected by Namibian law, and only dead trunks of the up to 300-year-old trees are processed into our luxurious firewood. We source our wood from selected farms, which understand the importance of the tree and protect its existence. We only use a few trunks, as the old trees serve as nesting sites and are part of the natural landscape.
