Omuriro, the word for fire in the Otjiherero language spoken mainly in Namibia. These firelighters are arguably the greenest in the world and burn for a full 20 minutes or more.
Using wax and waste wood from an invasive Acacia bush, the manufacturing process uses no electricity or water and provides jobs to many local namibians whilst also allowing them to work from home during the COVID pandemic.
