This spectacular MCC is produced in the Elgin wine region in the Western Cape, on a site that used to be an apple and pear orchard at an altitude of 230-300 metres above sea level, with lots of cool fresh breezes and misty mornings. It is here that this MCC was crafted. Comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
Pale salmon in colour with persistent bubbles. Fruity aromas of red berries, rose and brioche, with a hint of aromatic spices. On the palate fresh fruitiness with subtle berries and red currant, leading on to a creamy finish full of complexity and flavour intensity.
This dry MCC or sparkling wine can be enjoyed on its own or as an accompaniment to a number of dishes. Serve well chilled.
Charles Fox Reserve Rose MCC pairs well with: aperitifs, seafood, fish, pasta and cheese.
Try it with our Homemade Mac and Cheese, Original Biltong & Droewors, or Pineapple, Ginger and Chilli Jam (with camembert cheese).
