This spectacular MCC is produced in the Elgin wine region in the Western Cape, on a site that used to be an apple and pear orchard at an altitude of 230-300 metres above sea level, with lots of cool fresh breezes and misty mornings. It is here that this MCC was crafted. Comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
Clear, bright and golden straw in colour, with a lively effervescence. Fresh fruity aromas, mingled with a delicate bouquet of honeyed raisins, biscotti and brioche. On the palate, whispers of pear and apple, with notes of orange blossom and apricot.
This dry MCC or sparkling wine can be enjoyed on its own or as an accompaniment to a number of dishes.
Charles Fox Reserve Brut MCC pairs well with: aperitifs, smoked salmon, fish, fried food and cheese. Serve well chilled.
